Surf Guiding

Surf guiding is not a surf lesson. Nobody stands on the beach shouting at you to pop up sooner. You already surf. What you're missing is someone who knows which of the twenty-odd spots in Taghazout Bay is actually working today, and who gets you there before the vans turn up.

That's the whole package. Yazid runs it himself — born and raised on this coast, twenty years surfing it, fifteen years coaching on it. He reads the forecast over breakfast, picks the spot, and drives.

What you get, and what you don't

Two guided sessions a day. Performance surfboard and wetsuit included. One surf trip north or south when the swell asks for it. Optional dawn patrol if you're that person.

What you don't get: lessons, drills, video analysis, or anyone in the water correcting your technique. This package assumes you can paddle out, read a lineup and look after yourself. If you want coaching, take Intermediate Surf Coaching instead — same house, different week.

The spots we guide

Anchor Point, Killer Point, Boilers, Mysteries, Hash Point, Panoramas, Banana Beach and Devil's Rock — plus Imsouane, Tifnit and Tamri when they're worth the drive. Which one you surf depends on swell direction, tide and wind that morning. Not on a schedule printed in advance.

A normal day

Sunrise surf if you want it. Breakfast at nine. On the road by ten to whatever's working. Lunch on the beach between sessions. Another surf, or two, or three if you're still standing. Back for a Moroccan dinner, then tomorrow's charts on the terrace.

What a week costs

From 455 € per person per week, all-inclusive, in the shared dorm. Twin, triple and double rooms cost more. The week covers accommodation, all meals except Sunday dinner, both daily sessions, board and wetsuit, return airport transfers from Agadir and use of the surf skates.

This package is flexible on length, from a minimum of three nights. Stays under seven nights are priced à la carte rather than all-inclusive.
