For 8 years we have welcomed surfers of all levels into small groups of maximum 6, fed them home-cooked Moroccan meals, and guided them to the best waves on the Agadir coast every single day.
More than just a Surf Camp in Tamraght
We host a maximum of 24 guests at a time — small enough to feel personal, social enough to meet people from across the world. Our 4 ISA-certified Moroccan instructors lead every session, grouping guests by level to ensure real, visible progression in the water.
Beyond the waves, a week here includes home-cooked Moroccan meals shared around one table, surf skate sessions, hammam visits, music nights, and day trips to the valleys and coastline around Agadir. Everything is designed to give you an experience of Morocco, not just of surfing.

Salt House Morocco is located in the Taghazout Bay area, about 40 minutes from Agadir International Airport, and only 2 – 4 hours from most central European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin etc.
Morocco’s currency is the Dirham. Exchange rates were approximately 12.5 DH = £1, 11 DH = €1, and 9.6 DH = $1. Dirhams are only available within Morocco, with ATMs and exchange offices at the airport and in Agadir and Tamraght. Visa cards are recommended; Maestro can be unreliable
Visitors from many countries including Schengen states, the U.K., U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, Turkey, and others—do not need a pre-arrival visa
Surfing conditions are excellent year-round along the Moroccan coast, with the best surf in autumn and winter. Summer temperatures average around 27 °C (sometimes above 36 °C), with warm water suitable for a thin wetsuit or even just boardshorts. Winter brings cooler air (around 20 °C) and colder water, so a wetsuit is recommended unless you’re especially tough

Yes. Salt House Morocco welcomes surfers of all levels. Our ISA-aligned instructors cap groups at a maximum of 6 guests per coach so beginners receive genuine individual attention. We use soft-top boards for first-timers and choose beginner-friendly breaks like Panoramas and Banana Beach daily.
All Salt House Morocco packages include accommodation, all meals using local Moroccan produce, surf coaching or guiding, surf equipment (board and wetsuit), daily yoga, video analysis, return airport transfer from Agadir, and surf skate sessions. The price covers everything except personal drinks and day trips.
Yes. Salt House Morocco is 100% Moroccan-owned and operated, founded in 2017 by Yazid Kanane, a local surfer from the Souss-Massa region. Registered as Salt House Morocco SARL. Every team member is local.
Packages start from 455 EUR per person per week (Surf Guiding, all-inclusive). Surf and Yoga from 490 EUR per week. Intermediate Surf Coaching and Longboard Special from 510 EUR per week. All prices include accommodation, meals, surf, yoga, equipment, and airport transfer. Except for the Longboard Special, which runs as a fixed one-week program, all packages are flexible on length, so you can book for shorter or longer than a week if you prefer.
Yes, around 60% of guests arrive solo. Communal meals, the rooftop terrace, and daily group surf sessions make it one of the best places in Morocco to meet people. Solo female travellers regularly cite Salt House as one of the safest and most welcoming surf camps in Taghazout Bay.
Yes. Our Longboard Special is a dedicated week-long package focused on trimming, cross-stepping, nose riding and other classic longboard skills, with daily coaching, video analysis and a trip to Imsouane's long right-handers. It's aimed at intermediate surfers and above. Unlike our other packages, the Longboard Special runs as a fixed one-week program and can't be booked for a shorter or longer stay.
