Devils Rock (Imourane)

Our homeboy and home spot. Not so sure about the Devils Rock surname, but what we are sure of is this: a few years ago a moussem (a celebration of a saint) was held near Devils Rock, and one of the main attractions was the little cave at the end of the rock. Women who were unlucky in love could go into the little cave, get splashed by 7 waves, and the bad luck was out of the game.

It's 14 km out of Agadir, south of a small rocky cliff, and less than 5 minutes' drive from the surf house. Great for starters because it's easy to get in and out. Works on all tides, but much better on mid to high, with lefts and rights all around: just pick what you like. Make sure you stop by Chez Brahim for a coffee or grilled fish, or hang out with the local dogs.
